Tour 3D2N:

DAY 1 - Pangkalan Bun – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan Camp

Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun, you’ll be met and transferred to Kumai for boarding to the Kelotok. Leaving Kumai River, you’ll have an opportunity to see riverfront life. Borneo has so many rivers, so the boat is the main transportation here. May you also see a thousand high building hotels with tiny holes, and semi-wild swift poultry to harvest its nest. Cruise to Sekonyer River, the estuarine habitat with unique vegetation called mangrove, before your first stop at Tanjung Harapan Camp to see Orangutan feeding at 15.00 o’clock. Watch along the river banks for wildlife such as Proboscis Monkey-the endemic monkey in Borneo, the Long-tailed Macaque, Red-leaf Monkey, the Silvered Langur, or birdlife along the riverside. After watching Orangutan, then continue cruising overnight in the Kelotok. You’ll have time to relax, enjoy fresh air, or do some primate spoƫng in the roosting tree
while the boat finds out a good place to tie up. Meals Provided L D

DAY 2 - Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey

After a sunrise breakfast, cruising up the river to Pondok Tanggui, Orangutan feeding time at 09.00 am, then continue on to Camp Leakey, the legendary Orangutan Rehabilitation Camp, where Prof. Birute MF. Galdikas started her study in early 1971. Boating a side creek through tea-colored water where you will see the magnificent reflection from the vegetation along the river, when lucky with you, the freshwater crocodile and other wildlife attractions could find a long river band. After having lunch and departing in Camp Leakey, we can spend the rest of the day hiking through the Borneo rainforest, exploring peat swamp forest, lowland dipterocarp habitat, searching wildlife, or enjoying varieties of fungi, orchids, slipper orchids, mosses, and ferns, then enjoying Orangutan feeding Ɵme at 2.00 pm. Cruise down to Sekonyer River at sunset time and have a short night walk to explore nocturnal animals before dinner Ɵme as optional-additional activity. Stay overnight on the boat. DAY 3 - Sekonyer –Kumai – Pangkalan Bun

After breakfast, continue by Kelotok down the river for wildlife spoƫng. If the time is available, you also can visit Sekonyer Village for a short walk. Daily activities of the villager, all wooden boats parked on the canal, and the kids may an interesting to see. There is a souvenir shop provided by local artisan and handicraft. Enjoying your coffee in the boat while exploring the river in the morning, may you meet Orangutan foraging in the tree around the river bank. It will offer you an incredible experience. Long-snout crocodiles also often busk in the sun on the river bank when the weather really good. Departing Kumai, you’ll be transferred to Pangkalan Bun, feel free if you want to quickly stop at Orangutan souvenir before your next destination.

Note: Night walk is optional –additional activity it might be done on the first or second-night subject to the weather and your flight schedule, which affect the whole itinerary. Please notifying this itinerary may not fit during peak season (July-Aug-Sept), since the tour will be finished at 09.00 in the morning. Please inform us in advance about your flight schedule so that we can arrange the tour better. As optional concerning your schedule, we may offer you a free city tour for approximately 3 hours.

Tour 4D3N:

DAY 4 - Homestay/Lodge –Kumai – Pangkalan Bun 

Today, we will let you have experience having breakfast in your accommodation since we can leave at 7.30. The tour does not end; you still have 2,5 hours cruising down to Sekonyer River. Still any possibilities to see wildlife. Enjoying your coffee in the boat while exploring the river in the morning. May you meet Orangutan foraging in the tree around the river bank. It will offer you an incredible experience. Long-snout crocodiles also often busk on the sun on the river bank when the weather is really good. Departing Kumai at about 10.00 in the morning, you’ll be transferred to Pangkalan Bun Airport. Possible to visit our Orangutan souvenir and handicraft gallery before your next destination
